The apartments at Appartement Le Saint Nazaire - Les Balcons De La Cite are absolutely amazing. The panoramic views of the medieval city, the Aude river, and the Cathedral are breathtaking. I felt like I was living in a fairytale! The spacious living room with a comfortable sofa bed was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Carcassonne. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy for me to prepare my own meals and save money on dining out. The private terrace in the contemporary apartment was a great bonus. I loved enjoying my morning coffee there. The two double bedrooms provided ample space for a comfortable stay.
Personally, I found the presence of a twin bedroom in each apartment unnecessary. I would have preferred to have an extra double bedroom instead, but I understand that some guests may find it useful.

We loved the stay here, great experience. Location was good and unbeatable, to the centre of the town or to the Castle. In addition, it was located close to the center, and the restaurant called 'La terrace'.

The view from the back balcony was absolutely jaw-dropping, showcasing the majestic castle and historic old town. The location was super convenient, allowing us to explore all the sights on foot. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen. The small washing machine was a bonus. Free parking made our stay hassle-free. Valerie, our host, was incredibly helpful and had an excellent command of English. Her information sheet with recommended restaurants and bakeries was a great help. She was just a message away if we needed anything.

Loved the contemporary furniture and the private terrace with a view of the garden. The free wifi was a blessing, so I could update my social media with envy-inducing pictures of the stunning apartments.
Just one tiny shower and toilet? How did they expect me to juggle my morning routine?

Wow, what a view! The main bedroom had an ensuite shower with a direct view of the Old city wall. Watching the changing lights throughout the day was mesmerizing. The large and comfy bed made waking up to this view even better.
There were a couple of minor issues. It was a bit difficult to find a pattiserie and restaurants nearby on Sundays and Mondays when they are often closed.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect with a stunning view of the Medieval City and easy access to shops and restaurants. The staff, especially Valerie, was welcoming, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better would be more choices.
